World Heritage Listed Mungo National Park Sunset Tour 1st November to 31st March |

Feel the presence of the past while walking with one of our local Paakantyi tour guides and hear them explain all the significant sites of the oldest human occupation in this ancient land dating back to Aboriginal life from around 60,000 years ago to the present day. On Tour we will visit Mungo’s information centre where your guide will tell you their dreamtime stories and interpret their history on display. Historic Woolshed built by Chinese labourers back in 1869. Western Lookout where you can overlook Lake Mungo from afar. Walls of China here your guide will take you on a 2km walk through the history of their ancestors . The Walls of China a 30km crescent lunette of sand dunes that were once shores to the now dry lake show evidence of ancient remnants and campfires clear evidence of the past. Finish the tour watching the setting sun across the lake. On the way home as the night turns black a short stop to see the sky of a million stars and share a dreamtime story.
